Catalytic Pyrolysis of Waste Bicycle Tires and Engine Oil to Produce Limonene

چکیده

NaOH, dolomite and NiCl2 were used as catalysts to examine their effects on co–pyrolysis with waste bicycle tires (WT) engine oil (WEO). The pyrolysis behaviors investigated by thermogravimetric analysis. activation energy of the catalytic main reaction stage was derived Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose (KAS) method under four different heating rates conditions. calculations show that all three can reduce reaction. Co–pyrolysis WT WEO performed in a self–made lab bench at 600 °C explore impact distribution three–phase products. properties gas products characterized FTIR Py–GC/MS (Agilent 7890B, Santa Clara, CA, USA). With mixing catalysts, (Eα) decreased 15–30% process. NaOH increased yield 7% 10%. significantly improve CH4. proportion limonene 19.65% 10% NaOH. This article provides new for efficiently producing

Vacuum pyrolysis of waste tires with basic additives.

Granules of waste tires were pyrolyzed under vacuum (3.5-10 kPa) conditions, and the effects of temperature and basic additives (Na2CO3, NaOH) on the properties of pyrolysis were thoroughly investigated. It was obvious that with or without basic additives, pyrolysis oil yield increased gradually to a maximum and subsequently decreased with a temperature increase from 450 degrees C to 600 degree...

Gasification of Waste Tires

Gasification is a thermochemical pathways used to convert carbonaceous feedstock into syngas (CO and H2) in deprived oxygen environment. The process can accommodate conventional feedstock such as coal as well as discarded waste including plastics, rubber, and even MSW due to the high reactor temperature of 1000 to 1600oC. Pyrolysis is another conversion pathway yet it is more selective to the c...

Catalytic Epoxidation of Limonene

The epoxidation of limonene with hidrogen peroxide was studied over zeolite Tibeta (a large pore material) and heteropoly acids on carbono and alumina supported. PW11/C was catalyst the best tested. Introduction In the last years, the increase in environmental restrictions lead to the search for new oxydant systems to replace the traditionals in order to avoid the generation of polluting efflue...

Catalytic pyrolysis of waste rice husk over mesoporous materials

Catalytic fast pyrolysis of waste rice husk was carried out using pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry [Py-GC/MS]. Meso-MFI zeolite [Meso-MFI] was used as the catalyst. In addition, a 0.5-wt.% platinum [Pt] was ion-exchanged into Meso-MFI to examine the effect of Pt addition. Using a catalytic upgrading method, the activities of the catalysts were evaluated in terms of product composi...
